A shocking and heartbreaking 800 women die every day from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. Almost all global maternal deaths are prevented by ensuring women have access to safe, equitable and respectful maternity care. Unfortunately, too few women have the access they need and Every Mother Counts is advocating for and with community-based organizations to change that.
